Nutsiest week ever
It's been ... wow ... quite a week.
Just to give you a quick rundown, we had
Pday on Monday
MLC in Wichita (2.5 hrs. away) on Tuesday
District meeting and mutual on Wendesday
Zone training correlation (6 hours what even!) Thursday
and Two zone trainings (Also 6 hours plus drive time) on Friday.
So basically it's been the nutsiest week ever, but soo incredibly good. Wednesday we had one hour to proselyte and then dinner and mutual. Well, in those three hours, we ended up with a TON of stuff and it made up for any time we didn't have to work for the rest of the week.
One of the biggest miracles was that our member who fed us dinner on Wednesday night (in a bar, by the way) happened to bring her friend, LaRae.
Well, at first LaRae thought she needed to know everything about the gospel. She said she was hoping that eventually she could really feel the spirit. Then, by the end of the talk in the crowded bar, she was like, "What is this feeling? It's warm! I feel like I'm going to cry and I don't understand!"
It was such a miracle - the perfect description of the effects of the spirit. Later that week we gave her a church tour and she said, "Why don't all churches use this book? It gives so many more answers than the Bible alone! This finally makes sense to me!" and then she called us the next day to say, "Sisters, what's going on? I can't put this book down! I'm through the first two books."
So that's been incredible. She came to church and loved it and should be getting baptized on the 29th :)
So anyway, it's been a miracle filled week. And a crazy week. Jesus Christ is very real. I felt this week truly the atonement lifting us and helping us to take steps forward that were not our own. We saw miracles that were truly impossible considering the time (and lack thereof) that we had. What a life :)
Love you all!
